Annual Symposium

The USC Vision Symposium is organized by the USC Center for Vision Science and Technology. The major purposes of this symposium are to present vision research at USC to its community and to further collaboration across schools. Every year, the symposium features a keynote lecture by a prominent scientist from outside USC. Besides this lecture, we have six talks from faculty at USC. Local speakers present work that span retinal development to object recognition. These speakers give perspectives from the clinic, from basic science, and from technology. Finally, we also have a poster session, so that everybody performing vision research at USC can present his or her results.
